If there’s one thing 2020 has taught us, it’s that representation matters now more than ever – especially when it comes to politics. One group often excluded from the conversation is the LGBTQ community. But according to the LGBTQ Victory Institute’s latest report, things are changing. The report found that there’s a record breaking 850 LGBTQ people running for office this year. With only a few weeks until the 2020 elections, here are five LGBTQ people running for office that you should look out for.
Michele Rayner-Goolsby (Democrat)
